I have two works in the exhibition Buffalo on the Bowery . The first is a print from my show for Beyond/In 2010 titled Flood Town. The second is a video piece created specifically for the show. Similar to a piece I did for a show at Big Orbit Gallery, this piece is video projected from below a fish tank into the water. Video of a capsized boat, filmed from below under the surface, is reflected again in the surface of the actual water filling the tank. The result is a juxtaposition of recorded and living imagery.
