Cover: Ascension, 2000. Jan Pohribny´
Objects from hand-made paper by my friend Jan Cincera, often look like books. I have a feeling that in this world of electronic communication and media, where everything is replaced by virtual images, a good book will show like something supernatural
The media of photography is exciting, because you can be on the border between reality and imagination. It would be nice to bring the dream of a better, cleaner and healthy world into reality.Jan Pohribny´
Technical Comments: This image was illuminated by a 500 W photoflood in a harvested field. The background is the sky, the action is the wind. Made with a Wista Field 4x5, Kodak VPC 160 sheet film, 65mm Super Angulon lens. The exposure is about 1 second.
