Second Site is my contribution to the Fluid Culture Series at the Buffalo Inner Harbour. http://www.fluidculture.org. Second Site is a series of concrete camera obscurae stacked in towers referencing the concrete grain elevators across the river. Each of the 12 camera obscurae are paired with printed QR codes embedded in the cement. Unlike the limitations of traditional line-of-sight tourist observation points, scanning the codes with a smart phone gives viewers access to video shot at a second site associated with the imagery within the cameras.
