Cover: The Latin name given to this particular insect is Papilionidae Ulysses. It is named after the Greek hero Odysseus (Ulysses), the King of Ithaca, who wandered the seas for 10 years, after the end of the Trojan War. This myth is often interpreted as a spiritual quest. In the photograph, the color of the insect is reflected in the expanse of blue showing through the cracks in the metal, indicating an alternate reality existing on a different plane…the metaphorical sea.
